Huge bump next to beak growing larger by day

My chick is a 2 week old EE she got cut by something possibly older chicken pecked her through cage, she bled and now she has this weird bubble thing, we have been putting polysporin but it grows bigger almost every day only a week ago it was less then half the size, I need a solution

That looks like fowl pox, a virus spread by mosquitoes, but a mild case. It clears up in a couple of weeks. Do you see any others with bumps or scabs? Below is a picture of fowl pox:

Huh- well its only the one spot my chick has and i saw my chick get pecked, bled a bit, then scab like the first picture, although im not completely sure it isn’t fowl pox, ill research foul pox more, but if it isn’t what can i do?

About the only thing I would do is apply some Betadine or alcohol with a QTip to help it dry out and disinfect as well.

Doubt its fowl pox since its just the one spot and its been like that for over a week, thanks so much for replying though i found it hard to get traction on my other posts~

Heard cornstarch drys it out ya think that would work? Ill look for some Betadine though

Walmart sells generic Betadine povidone iodine in the bandaid aisle near the pharmacy. Look for Equate First Aid Antiseptic about $6.

Thanks, sadly it covers up her left nostril, not sure what to do now-

That is the problem with fowl pox and chicks. It can cause swelling around nostril or eyes which can affect their breathing and eating/drinking. Make sure that she is getting food and is able to breathe.

I also think that it looks like fowl pox, which can be spread through a peck of a previously infected chicken who is then immune to the virus.
