I can't close the carton! It weighs 85 grams. (A jumbo is 71 grams)
That's huge!! You could probably make a good sized omelet with that one egg, lol. Do you know what breed of chicken laid it??
Holy cow! Was the chicken walking normal after THAT one?
I don't even know who layed (laid?) it!
We have 3 buff orpingtons, a rhode island red, an ameraucana, a golden sexlink, a barred rock, and a silver laced wyandotte.
I *THINK* it came from the red, she has been laying the longest and she generally has the biggest eggs and that's the color of her eggs, but she's not the only one with that color. I can't ever tell unless I catch them laying in the box.
I had one of those yesterday! Same color. My Giant Cochin laid it. I don't know how she got it out. I had one last week from my Marans. It's hilarious to see them next to their "regular" eggs. It probably has two yolks in it. Mine did!
No one seems like they are in pain... so I guess all is good.
My Golden Comets ( Sexlinks ) lay those every so often.I take them to work for Show and Tell!
I got one of those before it had three yolks!
It was good...and saved like three eggs right? xD
