Huge free sample of H&H soy free feed

vjbakke: This would be where you find local chicken people and split a bulk delivery. I hope either that works or you can get your feed store to order. Let us know if they will and who they are... all I have is TSC and a local farmer's Co-op. I would like to know if your co-op would order it.As for me... my town is very small and it is unlikely to find someone to split shipping with me.

Here is going to be my justification

All I can say is that I used to make my own dog food until I became sooo busy that I couldn't.
It is possible that this feed is like the dog food I purchase now...
It doesn't matter how much the weight is... it is the quality and how long it lasts.
I drive 2 hours for a good dog food where 40 pounds lasts me a good 6 weeks (3 large dogs) or I can buy a 40 pound bag at wal-mart and it lasts me 3 weeks at the max.

I would rather drive the 2 hours knowing that what my dogs are eating is actually being digested and absorbed. They act much healthier and produce much LESS poo... which means that are using what they eat.

May be even cheaper in the long run....

Just thought I would put my 2cents in... I can't wait to get my order.

I emailed them to let them know they may be inundated with sample orders (just to prepare them) and they sent back a very nice reply and said they would send them out ASAP

I am really impressed with the ingredients list and NO SOY and no GMO and organic and it doesn't cost a wing and a drumstick.

This company is near Austin, TX. I am about 4 hours away from Austin and if my girls like the food I am considering making the trip to load up with a few bags, and take the opportunity to hang out in the beautiful city of Austin for the day, can't beat a deal like that

I have given some to the chicks and they go for this stuff first before the commercial mash. Being in Tucson my backyard is filled with perfect grit so I sprinkled some of our dirt in the brooder, mixed a little in with the feed and they are going crazy over it.

I love the way this stuff looks and smells..like real food. It also isn't heated and treated like commercial mash is. You can see the seeds, the grains, etc and it is fairly fine except for a few larger chunks that they pick at..and I am sure they put molasses or something in it becuase it smells sweet..just a beautiful feed. I am going to try and see if I can get a buyer club going here.

I got mine however it was only about 1/2 a cup of feed in the smaple, not the 10lbs as first stated. Anyone else only get a small amount. It seemed as my girls knocked this feed out of their feeder, not sure if because they loved it or they didn't care for it.

When I click on that link I don't see where it's offering a free sample. Was it a limited-time offer? Anyway, I probably shouldn't make them spend their money to mail me a sample. I doubt that I would ever buy it, instead of the economical Country Acres I now use, unless their sample made my chickens do something spectacular, like talk.

How long did it take to get your sample ? I requested mine about 2 weeks ago and haven't seen anything yet ....

I was thinkin they probably got slammed with sample requests from all of us BYC'ers and have a back log.....

that may also explain the small sample size as well.

Yep, that could be it. I am still using my sample. I know they also had a $10 pack that was over an lb..if people are serious, they could always do that.
