huge growth on bantam leg

My chicken has massive growth on her leg. We cut a bit off and inside it looks all sinew and strands of skin. No amount pf bathing helps. We don't know what to do

Not sure there is anything you can do, other than a vet and surgery . Can she just live with it, perhaps?

How old is the bantam and could you post pics of the growth? Did it hurt the chicken when you cut part of it off?

I was convinced it was just poo at the time and she did complain. But she is jumpy anyway it is hard to tell, we did not breed her and she is not so used to people. I will get a photo done. I think she is around 7 years. Thank you Anniana.
