huge patches of skin missing please help me

My butterbell isossing a huge patch of skin under both sides of her wings. I'm worried when she is mating this is happening what can I do for her it looks so painful.

My butterbell isossing a huge patch of skin under both sides of her wings. I'm worried when she is mating this is happening what can I do for her it looks so painful.

#1. Keep the tom separated from her until she heals.
#2. Get some Blu-kote and paint the affected areas to aid in protection and healing.
#3. Buy a turkey saddle and put it on her after she is healed and before you allow the tom in with her.

Its not missing skin, its torn and opened up.
