yes I am well aware of that, the message was intended for all of the man haters that use this forum as their own private pity party place, LOL plus I love to get you old hens all stirred up, makes my day. RP is a great kid just getting started in her young life and really doesn't need to hear all of your favorite bitter women stories and advise, that really is hurting more than helping. No offense RP just trying to protect you a bit or warn you whatever fit's.

Marriage/Partnerships are a two way street of learning and compromise.......... a good marriage needs commmunication, not everyone is perfect, and relationships need time to be set down in tolerance of each other............... sometimes our menfolk just don't realise, especially when they have been looked after by their mother's all their life before any of us wives/GF came along.........
Good luck on this new journey you have embarked upon ..... it just takes time .......
Men that really want to spend time with their mate are to be appreciated. That means he loves you and really enjoys just being with you. That is a good thing so go pick up his clothes and sit with him a while.
Always give 90% and only take 10% in relationships - if both parties do this then it works out GREAT!
Relationships require alot of self sacrifice in the name of love. Notice how I rarely get online in the evenings...my DH hates the computer if I am on it and not sitting and chatting with him so I don't do it. I also love that back rub I usually get after about 10 minutes of sitting with him
You worked all day long and you need a back rub and a foot rub....work your way into those!!
I don't mind a bit picking up after my DH or doing my chores. That is my job as a woman/wife/mother and it definatly has its rewards. My DH sees how hard I try and then he will pitch in and help out alot because of this. My DH and I always tell each other thank you too. If he buys my dinner or rubs me or helps me out then I defiantly thank him every time and he thanks me every time I hand him a plate of food or if I do anything for him no matter how simple.
Soak in that bath first though! Or better yet, ask him to join you in it!
