Huge Vermont storm today. Thought I lost all of my birds. devastated

My 8, week old chicks have been outside for about 3 days. It has been 90-95* and today, around 2:30 it got real nasty. We (Vermont!) had a tornado warning and it was raining, hailing and the winds were gusting probably 20-40 MPH. The whole time my chicks were outside in their little chick-n-hutch (until I get my coop) When I got home I saw all of them foraging. PHEW

Their backside is soaking wet though.

I was in school so I was safe, but the lights kept flickering

I'm glad they are fine and there was not much damage. I've been through tornandos and all the worry before. Once they said on the news one had hit my grandmother's street. I was freaking out because I could not reach her on the phone and we all raced over there to find out she was safe and the news had made a mistake on the street name!
