My landlady was telling me stories about "the good ole days" and she was telling me how her daddy hatched a double yolker in the exact incubator that i am using. The double yolker happened to have 2 chicks in it instead of 1. The "twins" lived for many years until they had to give them away due to her daddy becoming ill.

Someone here hatched out "twins" a few months back. She had to help them out of the shell a little, but they were fine.

A double yolker will develop 2 chicks, but they're extremely hard to hatch, most die before hatching. A few people have done it, but the chicks usually need help hatching. I won't ever knowingly set a double yolker - too much hassle and heartache.
