Human medical problems......... Does anyone have/know these symptoms?

Im questioning the hospital judgement...if the scan showed some kind of blip on the scans, they would rescan it or send you on down to MRI anyway if they do heart, head and chest scans. I dont think they would make you wait either for you to run home and let us know whats happening. That would be going against the doctor's advise.

My hospital would not release me, no matter how small the problem is, they would do a complete work up to make sure I dont have any underlying heart problems and its worth the long wait until they do find the problem. My hospital deals with cardiac folks and good medical center for heart patients.

So hope you will find the problem really fast! Its not a joke either! Do let us know and hope you get well fast!

the hospital called last night and i called them this morning, the clerk there said i have an elevated thyroid, and that i'lll probably need to take medication, and i still need an MRI asap, so i hope to get an appoitment with my primary by the end of this week.

According to their website, they don't offer CT scans either.

well they put me in this giant dougnut horseshoe looking thing, it wasn't very l;ong like the way they are in movies, and i stared at this red band, that started to spin around kind of like a dryer but around me, and it only lasted a few minutes, they said it was a preliminary, scan but they definetely called it a cat scan

well thats what the clerck at the Er told me when he read the charts he said a have a slightly elevated thyroid, and would need to get it checked, and be put on medication, whether anyone hear believes it or not thats what they said

i'm just worried that it could be my pituitary gland, eventhough they say it usually never is, it might be, and from what i've read you can't operate on it, i guess i'll just have to wait and see what the MRI says

With the thyroid it can be overactive or underactive and cause different symptoms for each. If it is simply hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism they can check that with a simple blood test. There are other problems that occur with the thyroid that they need to do further tests, like the MRI.

Good luck!!!!
