It's me again! So here's the story, I got 7 baby chicks and ended up with 4 hens and 3 roosters. I currently have the most docile rooster with the hens (a barred cochin) and the other two bantam roosters each have their own coop. They are a bantam Austrolorpe and a bantam BB Red Old English Game Hen rooster. Both of them have chased my daughter at some point so that's one reason I keep them in the coop. The other is they will all fight. Is it inhumane to keep them in a coop alone, even if it's spacious enough? They seem agitated when everyone else is out free ranging. They pace sometimes. I worry I'm being inhumane but I don't want to eat them or give them away. I don't know much about chicken psychology and was interested what y'all had to say on the matter.
Thanks!
Thanks!
