"Sure," Amelia answered. "Just let me show you to my room. I'd better ask my mom, but I can do that when you're by the door." As she began walking up the hill, she continued the conversation. "You know, I can't imagine going so long without school. In the city, they would all send us to a temporary school, because there are so many, or something of the sort. Either that, or the fire would be taken care of so quickly we wouldn't be off for too long; there wouldn't be much damage to be repaired."

( Hey guys! I'm dead tired as it is like 2 in the morning here, but I have a quick question before I hit the sack;
Can Simon eventually have a crush on Jess, because the only other boy who is 14 besides Simon and that boy that was just made to have a crush on River, is Jess's twin brother Andy so..... yeah. I think Andy could have a crush on Summer? I just don't want Jess to grow old and die alone LOL)
