“Bye” Lara called after him. She sighed and slumped into her bed. She wondered what had made Milo so heated about Eliza saying she was his girlfriend
 
Milo walked out of the door and waved bye. He strapped on his helmet and rode off to the hotel. On the way home, he saw the ruins of his house. They haven't built it yet. He got off his bike just for the sake of it and stepped through the ruins to see if he could salvage anything. Just then he saw Bertha in the ruins. "What are you doing here!" he yelled at her. Bertha ran at the sound of his voice and fled to the woods. Milo wondered why she was so jumpy then spotted what she was looking at on the ground. It was a small locket. He picked it up. It was silver with a ruby in the middle. He had never seen it before. He wiped off the coat of ash that it had then his phone buzzed again. He jumped and pedaled off to the hotel.

Lara sat up in her bed. “Lara Mum said to give you these” Juliet handed her a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. Lara walked to the bathroom. She came out with her strawberry blonde hair out, a very rare sight indeed. She looked quite pretty with it out as it was about down to her shoulder blades and wavy

Milo woke up in his hotel room. His other was still sleeping and he clambered out of bed. once he was dress he left the room leaving a note to his mom saying,
I am around town. Don't worry. -Milo
He left the note on his mom's bedside table and left. His bike had a flat tire so he had to walk to the hospital. Once he got there he hoped Lara was awake and ready. He told the nurse he wanted to see Lara and she gave him a sceptical look but check with Lara if it was okay.
