Cassie walked around the house with a glass jar. Holes had been drilled into the lid, and dirt and grass had been laid inside. On one blade of grass sat a caterpillar. Cassie had named the caterpillar Daisy. She now took the jar with her everywhere, and took every opportunity to show it off to SLippers.

Millie burst through the door just as rain droplets started to fall, pulling off her muddy boots. "I finished up the rest of the chores!" She called. "A storms coming though." She said, tapping Cassie's nose. She then made her way upstairs and popped her head into Fern, Albert, and Skylar's room. Cindy and Fern were there. "Hey guys!" She said. "A storms coming, so you might want to wrap it up in here."

"Bye Cindy!" called Fern, her red hair getting damp from the rain as she stood and waved in the doorway.

Fern was about to close the door, when a soaking wet and very agitated Slippers came stampeding through the door.
"Slippers!" Called Cassie, opening her arms wide. The poor cat looked quite bedraggled when wet, and Slippers was soaked all the way through.
Jess giggled and grabbed a towel and wrapped Slippers in it. Cassie brang Slippers to the fire to get warm, and soon the soaked and skinny creature that had burst its way in through the door earlier was a sleek and soft cat again, dozing at Millie's feet.
GTG dinner time!
