Millie was on her milking stool, milk squirting into the pail. "Come on, Matilda!" She coaxed as the last drops were squeezed out. "Good girl" She said, patting Matilda's rump as the cow buried her face into sweet fresh hay. Millie turned around and nearly dropped the milk bucket when she saw Kyra there. "My goodness! Great to see you!" Cried Millie, hugging Kyra.

Jess peeked out the window and saw the boy she had helped yesterday come up the driveway. Her cheeks turned bright red, and she quickly walked towards the door.

Jess answered the door. "Hi!" She said to the boy. Cassie ran past behind her squealing, followed by Jimmy who was chasing her. Jess grabbed Cassie and with a stern look, sent Jimmy giggling into the kitchen. She slung Cassie onto her hip. "These are some of my siblings." She told him, smiling a little. "Come in, if you dare!"
