Milo woke up to fire and smoke. the smoke made his eyes water and his bedroom was on fire. Milo ran to his door and tried to open it but it was locked. He pushed and pushed with all his might but couldn't open it. The wooden planks of the ceiling started to fall down and he had to dodge them leaping through the fire. he tripped and fell face on to the corner of his drawer that was on fire. Stinging pain shot to the bloody spot on his forehead and he felt dizzy. Milo's window was locked as well. A plank from the ceiling dropped on Milo and then the last things he felt was a prick of pain then it was all over and darkness engulfed his world.

The firemen were finally able to set out the fire when it was nothing but a pile of ashes and a few remains. They pulled Milo out and his mother screamed. Milo was dead.
