Milo gave another wheezy laugh.
 
Milo's mother entered the room and saw Lara. "What are you doing here?" she asked as if she owned her. "Your supposed to be in school!"
Milo looked down at the bed sheets. "Mother, I can-" he mumbled but was cut off by his mom. "I don't want to hear it. I want this girl out of here! If I remember correctly, she crashed into you on her bike, and convinced you to break school rules,"

She stalked out the hospital and peddled hard. Was Milos mum going to hold that against her forever? She felt sick to her stomach, she knew she probably shouldn’t be doing this but she veered her bike onto the road, School kids where blocking her path!
