C'mon girls if you gotta go you gotta go! Ive used the side of the road a few times. Near the bushes of course! I carry TP in my tuck. Baby wipes are handy and biodegradable too! Just dont hit your ankles.

Well I personally don't pee around the place, but I keep a goat for this purpose..... his pee really SMELLS

. Male goats also have the habit of peeing on their faces to make them smell attractive to the ladeez

, so they are a good deterrent in themselves

Any other novel ways of keeping baddies at bay?

My DH and sons have been peeing outside and around the barn/chicken coop for years, and it's never deterred predators. People around here still swear it works, but nah..

Every so often I take the dogs on a walk out around the poultry pens and we all mark the boundries. Seems to work here or the other methods I use keep the predators numbers down.

If you want to dicourage mice you might want to plant peppermint where you are trying to keep them away from.Your chickens will love it and it will give them fresh minty beaks.
