Humidification systen working perfectly

'Old Sock' humidification system working perfectly. I'm maintaining a rock steady 50% RH in my homemade incubator. With a push of an adjustment rod I can bring it up to 80% without opening the incubator. Water is added via an external fill tube so the incubator does'nt have to be opened.

Ken you're just a little too clever, my friend. That's pretty wicked cool. I hope those humidity settings work for you! Looks like you're about set for that hatch!

Cool ! You better watch that sock and make sure it dosen't get on that light it could be a fire hazard.

An older post with cleverly simple and inexpensive solution to a low humidity situation in a DIY incubator. The cheapskate in me loves it!
The secret is to not create a potential fire hazard situation with the heat source and the electrical hookups deserve respect too.
Just like real estate, location, location, location matters alot.
