Humidifier inside or outside incubator?

I have a Vick's filter free cool mist humidifier and don't know wether to put it outside with a tube going into the incubator, or to put it inside. I was going to put it inside but I was a little worried that the condensation might mess up the humidifier. Any comments are appreciated!!

I would put it outside because it would make sense that the humidity will sykrocket if you directly atttach it because of being an an enclosed container

yup, usually you just ad some water in the bottom of the bator.

I'm using a humidifier because every time a use a water tray the humidity gets way too high or way too low.

It's a converted refrigerator. And I'm trying to automate it so it can run while I'm gone.

ok that makes a lot more sense If you are using it for chicken eggs then the point of condensation is too much humidity though, does your humidifier have a setting low enough?
