Tomorrow is hatch day and I have one already pipping in my Brinsea Mini advance. The hygrometer is reading at only 65% even though I have both water cups filled. Is this ok or are they at risk of shrink wrapping?

I think it depends on how hands on you are planning on being during hatch. 65% may be fine if you plan on leaving it closed during hatch, but, if not than you can place some small bowls in there with pieces of sponge or a wash cloth in them to bring the humidity higher if you want. Just make sure the containers are all covered with cloth or sponge so chicks can’t fall in.

My hope is to leave it closed until they’re all hatched.
