make sure that if you do have to add any water, that it is warm water... preferably in the 99 degree range, but not "boiling". Also, resist the temptation to open the incubator to take out the first chick that hatches... wait for a minimum of 24 hours until a majority (or all eggs) have hatched to open the incubator. Just have water and food ready in the brooder as they will be hungry.
