Sorry, my mother used that expression so much. I think it was the idea of leaving the lid less than secure, which would affect the temperature. That causes the incubator to work harder and can create hot and cool zones.
I assume it is forced air?

Ah... moms... lol

I hear you on the fine print.
I bought some air pods online. The instructions are so small, I had to take a picture and blow up the picture to be able to read them.
My problem is seeing in general. I'm getting cataract surgery on my first eye next week. The other eye a month later. Everything has been a blur for well over a year.

I've got the start of cataracts, but I guess it hasn't changed in a couple years. Still, I can hardly read anything small without a bright light and optivisor.
No idea why I am even saving the Govvee instructions. They are every bit as small as the iPods.

I noticed a few days ago the temp in my incubator was a degree less than optimum. In spite of not being in the cold spot, which is in the 10-11 o'clock area. So I set it half a degree higher, then a full degree. Moving it up too 100.5.

The next couple days the temp on the Govee read 99.5 again. As well as sometimes on the 360. Their temp readings are very close. It's the humidity that's off.
Now it is reading 100.5 since last night. No change in weather or anything.

From all I've read here though, a degree warmer is better than a degree colder. So I'll let it ride.

I was going to take the Govee out at lockdown. I can always monitor the temp through the vent with my instant read. But how will I know the humidity?
What do you guys do? Leave the Govee in or take it out? Or leave it in for a day just to check humidity, then take it out real quick on the second day of lockdown?
