As the old saying goes, "When all else fails, read the instructions."![]()
Well yeah.
The older I get the harder it gets to read fine print and the easier it is to watch a few youtube vids

I'm afraid (read that as embarrassed) to say I have become hooked on youtube videos in the last 3 years. For everything from the instructional ones to which you refer to music and movie reactions to science related topics like space and health/nutrition to evencheating wife stories. I can't explain my rationale for my intrigue in the latter, but I find them compelling.
The thing that got me hooked on the music reaction videos was watching young people, many hip hop fans discovering real music for the first time. Mostly music from the 50s, 60s and 70s.O-M-GEE
Me too!
I watch youtube more than anything. Subscribe to Premier so I don't get YT's commercials and they've got a ton of good movies, too.
And I'm sad to say, but I watch those reaction videos, too! lol. At least the song ones.
I don't know what it is, cause ya know none of them are hearing the song for the first time, but it's like... like googling a movie explanation or review for something you just watched. You want to see how others feel on a song you grew up with. Maybe it's a getting older thing. For me anyway.
Don't do the cheating wife thing, but the crime stories seem to suck me in. Especially cold case crimes that are recently solved.
Youtube is to mindless entertainment, and once in a while a good instructional video, what Amazon is to buying.
If you want to get blown away, look up Dimash Qudaibergen (or Kudaibergen. It's spelled both ways). The guy has over and 8 octave range. Olimpico shows off his range well. If you really want to hear how high he can go, check out Opera 2.The thing that got me hooked on the music reaction videos was watching young people, many hip hop fans discovering real music for the first time. I still remember the very first one I saw. 'Twins The New Trend' reacting to Phil Collins live version of 'In the Air Tonight'. The shock on these brother's faces when the drums come in 3/4 of the way through the song was priceless.
With most of these young people, discovering quality music for the first time, they can't wrap their heads around real music and artists who aren't cookie cutter type. They don't understand how a band can have so many different sounds.
It seems to boggle their minds.
The temperature and turning are the most important things. So, don't cut your nose off to spite your face.
Given what you just said, I would probably start out with no water or very little water for a couple days and see what the humidity does.
Sorry, my mother used that expression so much. I think it was the idea of leaving the lid less than secure, which would affect the temperature. That causes the incubator to work harder and can create hot and cool zones.Thanks.
I'm not sure where the idiom comes into play, as I had said that emptying the water was an option. And that is also what you suggested...
But I will start off with no water.
It can always be added.
I guess this is where the $500 incubators come into play. Maybe they aren't affected as much by outside weather and windows.
It was much nicer today than it has been. But if it got more than five degrees warmer in that room I would be surprised.
But a few days ago that Govee was reading in the thirties just sitting there.
I hear you on the fine print.Well yeah.
