ok we are down to 17 days to go for my first hatching. Started Guineas eggs at 28, added chicken eggs at 21. Humidity is driving me nutty. I have a Farm Innovators Pro Series Circulated Air Incubator with Automatic Egg Turner. I cant seem to stabilize the humidity ( not that I am sure what it should be... Directions say 55% but what I read is you'll seem to keep it a little lower. it seems to float around 45-51% with all water toughs full. yesterday it dipped to 38% but I could see water in the toughs and I am in Alabama which is wicked humid and it is in my bathroom which is also humid so go figure. If I add a damp sponge it goes to 68%. even tried wetting half a sponge . I refilled all troughs this morning and was back at 51% Help!!!!
Guinea eggs looked pretty good candling. ( again, not that I am 100% sure what I am looking at. )
