I should add your bator will stay warmer and have less humidity loss BUT you may burn yourself on the heating element if not careful.

yeah i didn't even think about doing it that way, you're right a lot less of the heat gets out. thank you! I'm hoping for a at least a couple hatches. 5/6 went into lock down today

I still try not to open at all but I do find sometimes I have to go in.
