humidity in little giant incubator plz help

I have a Silkie that's 7 months old and is laying eggs I wanted to hatch them so I got a little giant incubator just I'm confused about this humidity thing so what are some easy ways to know you've got the right humidity?

Buy 2 or 3 hygrometers (measures humidity)
Buy 2 or 3 thermometers (sometimes you can get a thermometer+hygrometer combo)

That way you can test them against each other to know what the humidity is. The built-in gauge is classically un-reliable.
