I did check my hygrometer against one inside my house and another one outside my house, it seemed accurate. Although, my incubator hygrometer is digital, and my other two are dial, so it's hard to tell exactly.
I have a chart next to my incubator that I fill in every time I turn the eggs. Date, time, air temp, 'water temp', humidity, and which eggs are 'up.' That way I am able to track any patterns in changes.
I haven't for this time, but next time I hatch I may have a hygrometer/thermometer sitting in the same room as the incubator, and I would record those too. That might be interesting.
