I know this has been discussed many times, however, I cannot find anything that tells me how to lower the humidity in my still air incubator right after I put my eggs in. Most of them are answers to lockdown humidity. How do I get my still air incubator to lower humidity? It's at 81% and I cannot get it lower. Please help

Is your hygrometer salt-tested? My first recommendation would be to make sure it’s reading accurately
Next what is the ambient humidity in your area?
Did you add water or are you dry hatching?
Are your vents open?
If already dry, reading accurately, and open vents …..may want to leave lid open intermittently to bring it down and/or add dry sponge or paper towels to pull out extra moisture

I just put some cardboard between the lid and side in the corner to provide more airflow to lower my humidity. It only lowers the temp by about .5 of a degree and once the humidity is 2-4% below what I want it I take the cardboard out. Takes 10 min to correct it
