Hey yall! My First time using an incubator.... I bought the little giant with auto egg Turner and circulated air incubator. It has built in hygrometer and thermometer/thermostat... How do I know if the humidity level is just right for hatching chicken eggs? Also I borrowrd a still air incubator with auto egg turner and set some duck eggs.... Don't know the first thing about hatching duck eggs either.... Any advice?

Hi - the BYC Learning Center has great resources, including on incubating chicken and duck eggs. Searching BYC will also bring up threads like these.

I would definitely get an independent thermometer and hygrometer to check the temps and humidity - when I had an LG, the display was way off, and that can have serious consequences for the hatch.

Best of luck with your hatches! :jumpy
