95 is ideal, right under the light can be just a touch warmer (100) and some cooler areas are okay too, just no drafts.

95 is ideal, right under the light can be just a touch warmer (100) and some cooler areas are okay too, just no drafts.

xs 2 I keep the end under the light between 95-100. Just make sure only one end is heated and not the whole brooder so they can move in and out as they need to.

This is day 18 on my pharoah quail eggs 7 hatched memorial day i have plenty more to go.how long do i wait for the others.this is my first hatch.and i just want to thank everyone that has helped me on here with my questions and panics

I, say wait 24 hours after the last one hatched and if there are no more pips candle and asses if there is any life. Usually what's going to hatch has hatched out by then or at least made further pipping in the egg. How long you want to wait is totally a personal preference. I wouldn't wait more than 2 days after hatch. (Personally, I give it 1.) but many people will give it 3-4 days. I just don't like dragging out the inevitable. Glad to hear you have 7 out! Congrats on the hatchers.
