Humidity problems

hmm, looks like you got complicated humidity.

this is my very simple bator, have 6 ventilation, even the "door" always opens 4 hours per day.

and the humidity is quite good at range 45-50% even with whole vents and door opened. just place it in a place that there will be no one crossed it except you to turn eggs and checking only. no wind, no sunlight, and will be fine.

Im sorry, please bare with me. Do i float the paper towel on the water or just place it across the top of the trough but not touching the water?

do you want to make humidity up or down?

if you want it up, just place a "plate" and a "spons"(that's the name here, used to clean plate or on chair to make it comfortable to sit) and add water, your "spons" will absorb water and heat can make it "evaporate" easily and make humidity up.

No, you'll want to put it on top of the wire. If it gets wet your humidity will skyrocket!! You could also use a piece of plastic (like a lid or something) to cover part of the water troughs, anything (that won't suck-up the water) that will reduce the amount of surface area.

For me and I have an LG...I noticed that if my humidity raises...I drop the a/c temp in the room by a few degrees, my humidity drops also...

but if the temp drops, so does the humidity

Right Ive put in a single metal mini muffin case, (thats a standard bun case to us this side of the pond)

By Joe, I think Ive cracked it! Thanks everyone. Ive ended up filling a troph and covering it with a store card! that way I can slide it as needed, the muffin case wasn't as good as I tought. We've been stable 18 hours. Whoop ,whoop!
