humidity question - sorry!

My babies are hatching 4 are out - and I just looked at the humidity - it has jumped up into the 80's -

I had dropped to low 60's earlier tonight, I added a little warm water, then 2 chicks hatched and my humidity spiked

???

I have do not open ringing in my head - will it automatically come back down again? Or should I have not added that little bit of warm water?

AHH!!! I hope I didn't hurt anything.

Dont worry these spikes will happen when those eggs open up. Its just a gush of moisture. You said U just added a small amount of water, you are on the right track. Stay there and DONT OPEN it up.

okay - this morning the humidity is fluctuating between 78 and 81 - I have 3 pips - geeze this is more stressful for me then for them
