I'm at 60% humidity. It hasn't moved except for when I tested it by adding water to bottom of tray. How do I lower it if it should be lower.Temp is perfect. I will sterilize tomorrow and turn back on. Eggs should be here in a couple days. Four day old Cream Legbar chicks will be here early next week. I almost feel panicky. Check and recheck. Silkie is on two eggs sat all day. I'm "chicken to put EE eggs under her. She's so tiny. Will four or five lg. eggs even fit. But, she just seems like she really wants to brood. If she gets off them how long before I rescue them? Eeeeeeeh!

There should be vent plugs somewhere on the lid. If humidity gets too high. Just remove one or both of the plugs until you get close, then plug it back up. Seems like if you leave the lid on it humidity will hold steady for a while.

Yeah, I thought of that. It lowered the temp one degree but I saw no change in hum. I left it alone for 8 hours.
Is 5% either way deadly?
