humidity question

just bought myself a hydrometer for my bator and wanted to check what it should be the first 18 days. It is 60% in the last three days right ?

this is my third time but last one was 0% so that is why I have bought the hydrometer hopefully now nothing will go wrong

I am on day 1..A newbie @ this...Where do I find a hygometer? What do I do with it? Now I`m worried!

Thermometer/Hygrometers are found at Wal-marts in the garden section or anyplace thermometer are found, two brands are accurite and springfields, I use either one of these and they work just fine.......It is used inside your incubator to measure the humidity that you need for hatching eggs...from day 1 thru 18 you need a humidity reading between 40 to 50%...from day 19 thru 21 it should read 60 to 70% range...
