Why do we up the humidity to 70% on day 18 when we go in lock down.

Basically, it helps soften the membranes, making it easier for the chicks to pip and helping prevent shrink wrapping (when the membrane encloses and sticks to the chick tightly, making it nearly impossible to hatch).
