Humidity?

I have 2 incubators running. I haven’t added any water until today and they have stayed at 46% humidity. I added water and it’s 48 now. Not much water. Is this ok? It’s day 6. They are quail and silkie and barnyard mix eggs.

It should be ok but if your dry humidity is in the forties i would not add water. You can check the air cell sizes when you candle the eggs and compare to guideline pics of where they should be. If the air cells are not growing enough you will have to decrease humidity.
