How do I make the humidity higher in a brooder?

Brooder. For when they 1st hatch

i would try puting a wet rag or sponge in a small bowl full with warm water but make sure that it is high enough or seperated from the chicks so that they dont fall in and drown (that has happend twice with me)

Once the chiks are dry in the incubator , they can be trtansfer to the brooder

the brooder must be warm and clean temperature should be 95ºF on the edges of the brooder


but no need to increase humidity

they need to have warm water put some glass pebles or rocks to prevent chicks from drowing and feed

Next time try hanging the wet cloth so that they cant get into it.
