Humidity

Well I started out with 21 eggs and I have 12 in at lockdown now. It is day 20 today. And last night they were rocking and rolling. This morning I can hear chirping. But I can't see any pips yet. My question is I got up in the middle of the night to check on them and the humidity was perfect at 62%. Well I got up 3 hours later and the humidity was 45%. What I want to know is will the eggs be alright. I am worried that it might have shrink rapped the eggs. Any advice you have would be great.

Sorry I am not sure if it has shrink rapped them. But how can you tell?

Hope everything's fine. You should not worry much. Just get things where they should be. Three hours was not an awful lot of time. It probably was not at 45% for the whole three hours but just that it had gotten there when you checked. It took some time to get there and hopefully that did not affect the chicks.
