Humidity..

Hi I have kept mine at 45 for first 18 and got it to 60 for final days (now day 20) but cannot get it higher, sponges, humidifiers in the house boiling water in the room they are in..trying to raise it, have caused a lot of ice on my windows, but with zero-10 degrees for about a month here in chicago.....**** impossible....help, 2 have pipped and so worried they wont make it out....
even thought piping in steam from steamer???? as long as I keep temp ok?
 
HI its a Hovabator with the fan, I have hatched from it before, just never imagined it would be so artic and I wouldnt be able to get the humidity up.....
 
They sell a no slip shelf liner that has small holes and is kind of sponge like. I have used that before. Will try to find a picture of it.

The key to raising humidity is by adding surface area. Hopefully the liner will dry out pretty quickly, but it may help the three. Maybe also try larger sponges or more of them?
