hunting

LOL! I love that picture! Looks like you've got a young hunter in the making! Start 'em early and pass it on!

It is so easy I almost cried when I saw how much they charge for it. It DOES stain though!

I took several cups of acorns. Use an acorn your local deer really love. Put the acorns in either a crock pot or just boil them on the stove for a few hours or so. Let it steep overnight and then strain into a spray bottle. You can freeze the leftovers in ice cube trays and store the cubes in freezer bags. They smell a lot like vanilla.

He just sprayed his stuff down and then that hunting trip he shot a deer. He hasn't been able to get one all year and then he used that once and got one. It might have been coincidence though.

Thanks! Boo is going hunting with his daddy this year. He is so small for his age it took this long to get him to where he can keep up, LOL.

Rifle opened here last Saturday 11/5/11. DH, BIL, and I hunt. No one has anything yet this year, but I very nearly had a chance to shoot a big buck on Saturday.

This is BIL's buck from 2 years ago, taken in our pasture:
