Did anybody get a turkey this season? I did not have one in bow range.

I've had turkeys in my back yard, but haven't been able to go out hunting due to having a total knee replacement. Still recovering from that. Guess turkeys will have to wait for next season.

I didn't even get my license for 2011-12 because of school. This year, I'm getting my tags again. Just got a Savage Axis 30-06 for xmas, and have 3 boxes of bullets after sighting it in. Hopefully I can tag at least one deer this year. I'm looking into redtags for my brother, so that we can hunt on his farmland (14 acres) where we've seen up to 26 deer at a time. Redtags would allow us to take more deer (we get the buck tag, plus can get a doe tag if sent in early, the redtags allow more deer than that for farmers). I figure at the least, we can fill the freezer with plenty of meat (steaks, ground meet, jerky, etc). Can't wait!

Imagine a horrible time, it was worse than that. Haha, honestly it wasn't too bad. It seemed like it was bad at the time though. Yes those are blacktails and wild fox.
