hunting

Browse garage sales and watch Craigslist for used traps. I've avoided having to buy any traps new, I don't use live traps on my lines but you can find them the same way too.. Some were a little old and worn but a little TLC brought them back to working order.

Once again, I'm very jealous right now (sorry, i can be a jealous person when it comes to things like this

) When I get my license, I am thinking about starting a trap line for mainly raccoons and possums. Where I live, foothold traps are illegal. So are conibears and other body grip traps unless they are under water. If I do start the line, I'm gonna have to buy all live traps which can get kind of pricy......do you use all live traps or other traps too?
I have like 4 live traps and I got this dog proof trap where you put a piece of bait in the back and you set it and when it trys to grab it the traps grabs its paw.Live traps around here aren't to pricy and you can get 2 traps for 30 bucks. The 2 trap though is for rabbits and stuff.I got a live trap at a yard sale for 5 bucks and it is like heavy duty.

Is she a walker? I'm so jealous right now. I've been wanting to get me a pair of redbones or walkers for a while, but I just haven't got the $ or the time to train them

Yes she is a walker. You could find someone to train one for you maybe. My dad used to always keep a walker in our backyard and take them out hunting at least once a week. He has retired from coon hunting though, but it was fun growing up with the hunting dogs. They are really fun dogs.

No,I wish though. In the summer I can catch like 2 coons,1 oppussum, and like a ground hog.I once caught 2 coons in the same trap.
