Italian dressing is a good marinade for about everything. It's true some of the other marinades camouflage the taste. My DS & his buddy each got a goose opening day....right in your back field. Got a good recipe and made some fajitas.

In Kansas it is illegal to sell venison. I don't know about Missouri. It all goes back to the issue of market hunting which also leads to more poaching. I've taken a lot of deer, eaten a lot of deer, given away a lot, but never sold any.

I don't know... there may be special circumstances under which you can sell deer here, but I am unaware of them.
 
never thought about it being illegal, I have given alot away too but things are getting tight and I really need the money.
Yes I have the equipment and stuff to do our deer and it is very expensive keeping my hubby in ammo, arrows, gas, food, tags, everything cost soooo much.
 
Yes, it is expensive, but it is cheaper than therapy. I love the time in the woods even when I don't see anything (to shoot at, anyway). Got my second deer of the bow season. A nice six point this morning. That is three between my son and I this year. That should keep us stocked until next year!

Wife broke her dry spell and got a nice doe yesterday morning. I got a small tender one last Saturday. just finished butchering hers. We're getting good at this. Reduced big doe to cuts, weinermeat hide, bone and chicken treats in 1hr 45min. Grinding fresh sausage tmrw
