hubby came home with 6 deer to put in the freezer and had 2 in there, we also have bout 8 more weeks of different seasons to go LOL
I donate alot so we can use the meat. I might sell some this year to help cover the cost cause it is getting more expensive all the time.

Going over to help a friend butcher another deer they got ugh...

I my deer seasn was a bust. Didn't see anything that I could shoot. (only a fawn in range) I'm hoping to go out during black powder and we have a late doe season.

Well, my husband went out open day of rifle season here in Kansas, was Dec. 1st, and this is what he brought home!!! I can't believe it, what a wonderful deer. Green score on the rack is 193 and 4/8's !

Don't usually see these big guys, they usually get poached way before season even starts. I feel sorry for the people that come to Kansas hoping to bag a big deer. They usually never-ever see one.
DD is coming home from college today, she hopes to get a deer also.
By the way, picture of my buck is at the top of page 42.
