Mr. Fancy Pants our crossbred Game roo crowed for the first time this evening. I went to the store and my husband greeted me at the truck as if someone had died, he rushed me out to the coop and behold our 20 something week old roo was crowing finally at last! Now all we need if for Elvis, our Jersey Giant roo, to follow in his foot steps. Mr. Fancy Pants even seems to have bypassed the awkward stage some people have talked about and crows perfectly in stature and vocalization. We hope to catch it on camera in the morning to share with those who love to hear roos in the morning!
