first time chookman here. with hurricane isaias (spelling?) coming up the east coast, i locked my flock of 7 10-week olds in the coop with some water. i was going to avoid giving them any food in the coop to reduce the chances of getting unwanted pests in the coop, and I made sure they ate this morning until noonish when I locked them in. my question is - should I put food in the coop? I'm thinking that they will be fine overnighting with no more food and i'll just make sure to get out there and let them at the food first thing tomorrow morning. Thoughts?
