With hurricane Matthew coming, im getting worried about my duck. There wild but they always come to my backyard. Im getting a bit worried about them because i live in South Florida, and the hurricane is category 4, which is bad. Should i take the duck inside with me? Or should i just let it be and hope for the best? I don't really know what to do and i'm getting worried about him.

are YOU safe? If your duck trusts u maybe you can get it into your bathroom or garage? I would make sure there's nothing indoors that the duck can be hurt by.

hope u r ok.

If the duck shows up, you can bring it in - I have used one of those pop-up laundry baskets to carry a duck. I agree, you need to be sure you have a good shelter, yourself. A duck does not take up that much space - they can shelter in a dog or cat carrier, or any of a number of setups. They don't need much for the short term, half a day, a day or so. Water is important - for you, too. Fill clean containers for yourselves.

Prayers.
