Update from official weather forecasting FB-group this story has been documented as true. They also appear Lu have something like giant rebar that goes down ~8 feet to cement footing.

It is apparently solid and very minimal damage.

Yeah, like their house got washed away in the hurricane, but they are responding with both pathos and humor. Have to admire that attitude. 100% American, never say die, this is our home, nothing gets us down, we'll be here waiting when our house comes back, haha.
