HURRY HELP!!! Nearing Dusk Chicks Under House!?

PERFECT! I'll try water first...then light. I'll post. THANKS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! Lattice is screwed down tight. I am just worried about them getting eaten. We've already lost one today---hawk???!

Go get the drill, pop the screws out, get your birds, and replace the screws. You will not even be able to tell you did anything to the lattice. I can't understand why would want to stress them and scare them when it literally takes 30 seconds to remove a screw?

The hose DID IT!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, chickengal30!! They were out in less than a minute, seriously! Duh- I wasn't thinking straight enough to come up with that.

As for the drill---I see your point and thank you---BUT, I don't even know where the drill is. LOL. Our porch is quite large...so the broom was making them move from one end to the other. I've been running back and forth a lot this afternoon. Haha.

Thank all who replied. Thank you.

I had one of mine hide under the deck like that while I was putting the group away. No lattice here but it's too low for me to go under and much too large a space for a broom to reach. I had the kids crawl under there and together they chased her out (they were happy to do it!) I now get the troublemaker FIRST when it's time to gather the chicks. Actually, I know who is difficult to catch and who is easy so I now go in order of most difficult to least. I cannot wait for them to be in their coop!
