Hello.. I posted on the injured forum yesterday and I have had no response so I thought I would give this a shot...
I have about a 1 month old chick she was hatched by a broody hen and there are 6 chicks total.. I free range my chickens so they wander around a lot..
One of the babies has been limping and lagging behind everyone.. When I picked her up her right leg is limp and she will not move it.. I do not see any broken bones.. just a scratch about an inch long on her hind leg.. I checked for absses and I even reopened the wound just a little to see if there was any drainage and there was none.. Here is a picture of her.

....
The white stuff is anibiotic ointment.. she is able to hold the leg up so she can hop around but she is not moving her foot at all.. I can touch her foot.. move it around.. but she gives no response.. so she is about to lift her leg but not move her foot..
any suggestions.. ?4
